The Governing Body of St Mary’s School, Cambridge is responsible for determining the aims and overall conduct of the school.
Our Governing Body comprises volunteers from education, industry and faith organisations.

Jo Storey
Chair of Governors
After graduating from Loughborough University, Jo was initially employed as a Risk Analyst in industry, before becoming a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics. Her passion for the wellbeing of young people then drew her to the role of Principal Researcher, working for the National Health Service on a major project, researching drug and alcohol abuse in young people.

She has extensive experience in the legal and charity fields, as well as a deep knowledge of Cambridge as an alumna (Newnham), former Associate Fellow (Clare Hall and Newnham), and through holding a senior position in the University administration for 15 years.

Dr. Amineh Hoti obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge where she was awarded the Wyse Fund, Trinity College. Dr. Hoti graduated from the London School of Economics where she received the Foreign and Commonwealth Award for developing global leaders. She is a Fellow Commoner, Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge, and has supervised undergraduates from half a dozen Cambridge colleges.
