What our parents say

Junior School girl singingWorking with parents

We are committed to working closely with parents and we uphold the view of the Catholic church, that 'the parent is the first educator of the child'. This shapes our parent partnership, which is integral to the St Mary's approach to education.

Here are just a few of the responses we had from parents with girls in our Junior School, Senior School or Sixth Form.

A truly amazing school, my daughter has gone from being a shy person with not much self-esteem to a confident, happy young adult. Her working ethos is so motivated and her peers are so friendly and supportive too. I would recommend the school to anyone!

We feel so lucky that we made this choice! My husband and I work in education and really do understand how St Mary's go the extra mile for the girls in their care.

We are delighted with the school. Our daughter is very well cared for and the staff teach excellently. She is achieving excellent academic results and blossoming in a loving community.

Our daughter loves St Mary’s so much so much that she would like to attend during school holidays! Thank you to all staff for making these precious years so incredibly inspiring and fun for our little girl.

I'm so impressed with the Junior School and so glad our girls are there. I feel they are known and loved and encouraged and already I can see the difference this has made to my daughters. Their confidence has soared since joining St Mary's and I feel like the school adds more value than any other independent school in Cambridge.

“St Mary's School, Cambridge has changed our daughter’s life. She is happy and inspired every day and we are really grateful to everyone at the Junior School for the support they have given her.”
