How to apply and application deadlines

Our final stage of the process involves formal and informal assessments; including tests and face-to-face interviews appropriate to each girl's age. We make this experience as relaxed as possible, as we really want to understand each applicant’s potential.

Girls applying for places in Year 7 to Year 9 are invited to a pre-assessment tea prior to our formal assessment day, to become familiar with the environment and meet current as well as other prospective students before assessment day.

At this stage we will also contact your daughter's previous school to request detailed references.

Junior School PupilAdditional information

If your daughter accepts a place at St Mary's School, we require a deposit to be paid as well as an non-refundable application fee. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your daughter’s time at the school. This deposit must be paid in addition to school fees.
