We encourage the use of public transport and bicycles where possible and due to our central Cambridge location we are unfortunately unable to offer visitor parking.

There are metered parking bays on Trumpington Road, only a few minutes’ walk to the Junior School, Senior School, Sixth Form and Art Centre. Parking bays in residential streets near our main entrances are for residents only or, where notified, for short stay, normally for a maximum of two hours.

From the north, midlands and east

• Follow the M11 southbound (via the A14 from the midlands and east)
• Exit at Junction 12
• Take Barton Road to the roundabout and turn right onto Fen Causeway
• Continue to the next roundabout and take the second exit
• Continue into Trumpington Road

For Junior School

• Continue along Trumpington Road until you arrive at Chaucer Road, on the right.
• Junior School is located on the right – 6 Chaucer Road.

For Senior School, Sixth Form and our Art Centre

• Turn left into Bateman Street
• For Sixth Form turn immediately right into Brookside – the Sixth Form is on your right
• For Senior School continue down Bateman Street, and the school is on the right opposite Panton Street
• Our Art Centre is just beyond Senior School, also on the right

For Mary Ward House (Boarding)

• Continue along Trumpington Road and turn left into Brooklands Avenue
• Mary Ward House is located on the left-hand side, opposite Clarendon Road

For Long Road Sports Ground

• Continue along Trumpington Road and turn left into Long Road
• The Long Road Sports Ground is about halfway down Long Road, on the right-hand side

From the south

• Take Junction 11 off the M11 and follow Trumpington Road for about one mile into Cambridge

For Junior School

• Just past the Nuffield Hospital on your right, turn left into Chaucer Road
• The Junior School is located on the right – 6 Chaucer Road

For Senior School, Sixth Form and our Art Centre

• Just past Cambridge University Botanic Garden on the right, turn right into Bateman Street
• For Sixth Form turn immediately left into Brookside – the Sixth Form will be on your right
• For Senior School continue down Bateman Street, and the school is located on the right opposite Panton Street
• The Art Centre is just beyond Senior School, also on the right

For Mary Ward House (Boarding)

For Long Road Sports Ground

• Continue along Trumpington Road and turn right into Long Road
• The Long Road Sports Ground is about halfway down Long Road, on the right-hand side

There are frequent trains from London King's Cross and from Liverpool Street to Cambridge. There are also good connections from Peterborough, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh. Senior School, Sixth Form and Art Centre are five minutes by taxi from Cambridge Station or a 10-minute walk. Junior School is a further five minute walk.

Walking from the station:

• Walk down Station Road towards Hills Road
• Turn right onto Hills Road and continue until you reach Bateman Street
• Turn left onto Bateman Street:
  • The Art Centre is on the left after approximately 500 yards
  • Senior School is just beyond the Art Centre, opposite Panton Street
  • Near the end of Bateman Street, turn left into Brookside – the Sixth Form is on your right
  • For Junior School, continue to the end of Bateman Street, and turn left onto Trumpington Road
  • At the next traffic lights, turn right into Chaucer Road - Junior School is 6 Chaucer Road

Mary Ward House (Boarding) walking from the station:

• Turn left into Station Place
• Turn right into Brookgate
• Cross Hills Road and turn right into Brooklands Avenue
• Mary Ward House is on the right-hand side opposite Clarendon Road

Long Road Sports Ground walking from the station:

• Turn left into Station Place
• Turn right into Brookgate
• Turn left onto Hills Road and continue along this road
• Cross over the railway bridge and continue on, until you reach a right turn into Long Road
• St Mary's Sports Ground is located about halfway along Long Road on the left hand side

There are regular Park and Ride buses that drop off near St Mary's School from both Trumpington and Babraham Park and Ride stations.

Trumpington Park and Ride

• Alight at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden stop and continue in the same direction, crossing the road into Bateman Street on the right
• For Sixth Form turn left into Brookside – the Sixth Form is on the right
• For Senior School continue down Bateman Street approximately 200 yards; the school is on the right opposite Panton Street
• The Art Centre is just beyond Senior School, also on the right

Babraham Park and Ride

• Alight at Cambridge Railway Station
• Walk down Station Road towards Hills Road
• Turn right onto Hills Road and continue until you reach Bateman Street
• Turn left onto Bateman Street:
  • The Art Centre is on the left after approximately 500 yards
  • Senior School is just beyond the Art Centre, opposite Panton Street.
  • Near the end of Bateman Street, turn left into Brookside – the Sixth Form is on your right
