Yr 9 Nuclear Races Trip - a place to be muddy!
For their year-group bonding trip, where friendships were made and strengthened through the shared experience of mud, (plenty of mud!) Year 9 visited Nuclear Races last week.
They all enjoyed the huge high ropes course, an obstacle course and the infamous "death slide" where a dunk in freezing cold water at least washed off some of the mud.
A day of adventure, with "dangerous levels of outdoor fun", quickly became a day also of resilience, support, teamwork and encouragement.
Teachers who accompanied the trip may not have got quite as muddy, but they all agreed the year group were fantastic and a pleasure to spend the day with.
