Years 10 and 11 head to the theatre
Girls from Year 10 and Year 11 enjoyed a trip to the Cambridge Arts Theatre to see Stephen Daldry's multi-award winning West End production of J.B. Priestley’s 'An Inspector Calls'. Students in both years are studying the play for their final GCSE examinations in both English Literature and Drama. It was a superb piece of theatre, with particularly noteworthy performances from Liam Brennan as the Inspector and Christine Kavanagh as Mrs Birling. The girls all agreed that it had been an entertaining afternoon, as well as very useful for their studies. This led to some very thoughtful discussion in the following morning's lessons with much debate about which was their favourite moment!
