Year 7 Karate student is set to become Karate teacher by the age of 16!
Year 7 student, Kiana S., has just passed her Karate Nidan, or 2nd degree black belt, and is on her way to becoming a karate teacher in less than four years time!
She celebrated this remarkable achievement at the weekend, in a special ceremony at Adrenaline Dojo, where she has been a karate student since the age of five.
We are thrilled for her, as only one in 10,000 who start martial arts ever reach black belt, with the numbers dropping further at each Dan. It's inspiring to see what she has achieved with determination and perseverance.
While Kiana continues to personally master her art, she is also on the teaching programme, so by the time she is 16 she will be a 3rd Dan (Sandan) and a teacher of karate.
Many congratulations Kiana, on a truly outstanding demonstration of commitment and dedicated training.
