Year 6 pupil dances her way to the top

Year 6 pupil Niamh B. took part in the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) National Finals for Ballroom and Latin dancing at the beginning of November. Niamh competed in five separate events at the competition and got through to the quarter finals in four of them.

Because of her success at the competition, Niamh is now in the top 20 for the 10 to 11 year old category. On top of this, her achievements have placed her in the top 20 for under 12’s Sequence, the Old Time style dancing, which incorporates Ballroom and Latin American techniques. Congratulations to Niamh and good luck with the quarter finals!
