Year 5 visit the Cambridge Mosque for Worlds Religions Week
During World Religions Week, Year 5 enjoyed learning about Islam. We were lucky enough to be able to launch this mini unit with a visit to Cambridge Mosque where the girls heard from the resident Imam about Islam as well as receiving a tour of the mosque. The girls even had the privilege to bear witness to the lunchtime prayer service. As usual we were impressed with the girls' curiosity and their respect throughout the morning. Later in the week, the girls researched a topic related to Islam and presented it to their peers. The quality of work was very high and the girls enjoyed learning from one another.
