Year 5 create upcycled environmental figures
The girls in Year 5 have had great enjoyment in showcasing their creative skills before half term!
Inspired by the celebration of Charles Darwin day, Year 5 created upcycled environmental figures, from insects to turtles to forests, using recycled materials from around their homes. Each girl made the project their own and enjoyed discussing how they built their works of art. Similarly, for our remote Woodland Explorers session, the girls designed and made dioramas based on a scene of their choice from our English book 'Holes'. From shoe box sets to dens built in living rooms and gardens, the girls used their wonderful imaginations to bring a scene from the book to life!
Here is Lilybo S-H. with her creation!
