Year 4 pupils visit Kentwell Hall

Year 4 pupils visited Kentwell Hall last week and, among other activities, had a great time dressing up as Tudors for the day. The girls learnt about what life at the manor would have been like in Tudor times; the group was greeted at the gates by guards who wanted to check that no-one was infected by the plague, after which the girls wandered around and watched some of the tasks of running the estate being performed. One of the highlights was watching the pots being made for the manor and eating sugar biscuits that were bought using Tudor money.
