Year 4 learn life skills in Woodland Explorers session
For this half term, Year 4 focused on two challenges set by Mr Taylor in their Woodland Explorers sessions. The first challenge tested the girls' patience and perseverance as they attempted to start a fire using flints and pieces of paper. They found this to be much more difficult than using cotton wool and petroleum jelly. The second challenge tested the girls' knowledge and teamwork skills as they were tasked to build a lean-to shelter which would not allow water in, and they could only use natural resources. Well done to all of Year 4 for a fantastic Woodland Explorers afternoon!
