Year 4 attend Wimpole History Festival
Year 4 have been working diligently to complete their drafts of their Tudor Creative Stories over the past two weeks. As a little inspiration for our budding authors, the girls had a chance to visit Wimpole Hall on Thursday as part of Wimpole History Festival. There, they heard two authors and a poet speak about their work and why they became writers. Each speaker was highly entertaining and took all the children attending on a wonderful trip through their various story books and poem anthologies. Year 4 also had a chance to look at books at a pop-up book stand, and they met with some historical interpreters where they learned how Romans buried their dead! Wimpole History Festival was a wonderful trip, and one the girls hope to attend in the future.
