Year 3 use money in their maths
This week, Year 3 continued their study of the Romans with a look at different Roman gods and goddesses. The girls learned that the Romans didn't have one single religious belief, but took ideas, traditions, and rituals from many other cultures.
Several of the girls in Year 3 were able to make connections between the Roman gods and goddesses with the Greek gods and godesses.
In Maths, the girls just finished a successful attempt at their first virtual unit assessment and have begun a short study on money. Many girls created their own shops to practise counting and handling money as learned through their lessons.
