Year 3 create magnetic board games
Year 3 had a wonderful second week back in school! The girls spent much of their time revising what they know about measurement of length, how to demonstrate self-control, and continued with our book study of “The Butterfly Lion”. Two particularly interesting parts to the week were our Humanities and STEM lessons. In Humanities, the girls have been honing their Atlas referencing skills to identify key areas of high ground throughout the UK. They are now becoming experts at recognizing key land shapes to find specific areas between two maps. In STEM, Year 3 began creating their own magnetic board games. During this time, the girls drilled and cut wood to make their magnetic wands and have started to design their gameboards. It’s been a busy, but productive week for Year 3!
