Year 12 photographers head to the Botanic Garden
The Lower Sixth recently went to the Botanic Garden in order to take some photos in response to the topic they’re currently studying, ‘luminous and obscured’. Within this, they are focusing on the different apertures of the camera.
Apertures are referred to as F-stops when changed in the camera settings. This could range from F1 to F22 on just one camera. The lower numbers (eg. F1-F8) allow the most light into the camera but each lets in a different amount. The higher numbers (eg. F10-F22) let in less light.
Have a look at some of the photos they took in the gallery.
