Year 11 students - ambassadors for balance: work and sport

Congratulations to Year 11 students Jemima C. and Annie Q. who, amongst all of their hard work preparing and taking GCSEs, are managing to continue competing in their chosen sports and succeed at national level. Jemima won the J16 pair race at the Nottingham Masters Regatta earlier this month; she will be rowing in several other national events during the next couple of months. Annie has achieved a National Qualifying time of two minutes and 17 seconds in 800m, to compete at the English National Club Championships in July. Annie is hoping to achieve the double success of also accomplishing a national qualifying time for the English Schools National Championships. Best of luck to both girls in their sporting pursuits.
