Year 11 Reflects
Year 11 spent the first day back after mock exams on their Day of Reflection. The day included the customary mix of rowdy games, thoughtful discussion and opportunities for quiet personal reflection. An opportunity to take stock and unwind after the pressures of two weeks of mocks, themes included reflection on finding balance in life, vocation, and how life stories can be predictable and can be completely unexpected. Students were able to reflect on places, people and activities from which they gain security, energy or become more fully themselves. The Religious Education department took on the role of a 'Question Time' panel, engaging in and provoking discussion from the students. The day ended with an Advent Reflection by Anthony De Mello SJ and an outpouring of Christmas goodness - mince pies and chocolate logs.
