Winter League
It was a grey and bitterly cold winter morning on Sunday 12 February when the Sixth Form boat competed in the Cambridgeshire Rowing Association’s Winter League race. The course stretched from the A14 bridge to just before the Green Dragon foot bridge – a total distance of 2,600 metres. The crew managed a very respectable time of 13:03.3 [min] given the conditions and the fairly strong current. The race was a rolling start and the crew held their rhythm throughout the course. The course has many twists and turns and our cox, Honora D., did a wonderful job of steering the boat, always taking the best line through the turns. For further details please click here. Well done girls, and good luck for the Norwich Head which takes place on Saturday 25 February!
