Valuable work experience convention for Year 11
Our Year 11 students took part in an inspiring work experience convention hosted by our Upper Sixth students on Wednesday 1 November and Thursday 2 November. The Upper Sixth students spoke to the girls about their work experience, having designed posters to depict their time. This is a great way for Year 11 students to be encouraged to start thinking about possible career options and to think about the different types of employability skills that they will need to enhance. The Lower Sixth girls were also encouraged to join in and discuss their options with the Upper Sixth students, who spoke about a variety of industries and companies, from Microsoft to HSBC, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust to nursing and midwifery, and Interior Design to Architecture.
