Time for tea?

On Friday 8 September we celebrated the start of the new academic year with the ”coolest tea party in town” hosted by our dedicated Circle of Friends. The event provided a chance for teachers, governors, Bateman Street residents, students and parents to catch up after the summer break, and we were delighted with the number of people who attended the event; enjoying the cakes, face painting and live music.

The bake-off style competition proved to be a winner, with many of the girls baking cakes for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to all who joined us and to Mrs Emma Whittley who supported the Circle of Friends in hosting this successful event to welcome new and returning members of community to the new academic year!
