Thom Rollet from Norwich University of the Arts discusses creative degrees at St Mary's
On Wednesday 20th October, our Art, Photography and Textiles students had the opportunity to meet with Thom Rollett from Norwich University of the Arts for a guidance session on portfolio preparation, personal statements and applying for creative degrees.
Thom’s vast knowledge of what universities are looking for and advice was hugely valued by the students. The content of this session was not only applicable to university applications but also for the students ongoing creative careers. One Year 13 student said:
“Thom was really helpful and informative. The session was interactive and helped with my decision making for university and beyond.”
We hope that the talk has inspired those students considering a creative career and that they will refer to this guidance when taking their next steps.
