Students explore marketing on Business and Economics trip to London
On Monday 11 March all Business and Economics Sixth Form students travelled on the train to London. The first stop was the Museum of Brands in Notting Hill, where students took part in a customer profiling workshop and learned about how businesses determine their target market. They then took a trip down the 'time tunnel' seeing how brands, packaging and advertising has changed from Victorian times to present day. In the afternoon the group took a self-guided tour of the Bank of England Museum to learn about how interest rates and quantitative easing affect us as individuals and the economy more broadly.
