Students enjoy lively balloon debate

On Tuesday 21 January we held the annual Balloon Debate in the LRC. All academic scholars from Years 7, 8 and 9 presented either on their own or in groups to an audience of parents, staff and Year 6 students.

The girls represented an influential invention or innovation of their choice. Niamh C., Karla C.-C. and Victoria B. were voted as this year's winners, after a very creative presentation about the influence of music. 

Well done to all the girls for their impressive research and outstanding presentation skills. It is extremely brave speaking in front of an audience of 60 people, at any age. The girls did themselves proud and taught us some fascinating things about the most important influences on our lives today.
