Student half term cycling course

On Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 February, 19 Year 7 and three Year 8 students braved the February weather to complete the Level 3 Bikeability course.

Outspoken! Training hosted two three hour sessions, during which the girls were taught how to check their bikes for road worthiness, reviewed basic safety tips, and rode their bikes around Cambridge to practise signalling safely and developing traffic awareness.

The girls were all very positive and became more confident with crossing busy intersections, looking behind them and being aware of the busy Cambridge city centre. Congratulations to all the girls who successfully achieved their Level 3 certificates!
