St Mary's teacher of Mandarin speaks at the first Cambridge Hanfu Cultural Festival
Teacher of Mandarin at St Mary's School, Ariel Skillings, was delighted to be a guest speaker at the first Cambridge Hanfu Cultural Festival this month, which is a celebration of Chinese culture, language and costume. Her talk was on the topic of Han Costume and its influence on Modern Arts.
The event at Clare College, Cambridge, was organised by the UK-China Culture and Art Centre and Cambridge X Education and was an opportunity for Chinese students studying in the UK to celebrate Chinese traditional culture and etiquette.
