St Mary’s ‘live on air’ for a reflection on advent

St Mary’s School will be live on the airwaves next week when Radio Maria England will be broadcasting an advent special from our school chapel, on Monday 6th December, at 11am.

Radio Maria England, based in Cambridge, will broadcast a ‘Reflection for Advent’ with Mr Bennett, Mrs Ward and student Mary Ward scholars. Largely volunteer-run, the radio station operates 24 hours a day and broadcasts Christian music, prayer and teachings on digital radio (in Cambridge and London) and online. Whilst the station is based in Cambridge, it broadcasts from around England and is a member of the World Family of Radio Maria – a group that includes 77 radio stations across five continents, and has 500 million listeners world-wide.

If you are unable to listen live, the piece will be rebroadcast on 6th December at 5:30pm and 10:00pm. It will also be available as a podcast later in the week and will be found here. The podcast will be available on Apple, Google play, Spotify and other podcast providers.
