St Mary’s hits the airwaves on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire
As the whole school gears up for an exciting day of sporting fun tomorrow to officially open our new state-of-the-art sports ground at Long Road, our Headmistress, Charlotte Avery, was interviewed live on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire this morning to discuss all things sport at St Mary’s.
Speaking on the Breakfast Show to presenter Louise Hulland, Charlotte discussed the opening of the final element of our ambitious sports investment programme which will greatly enhanced the provision of physical education (PE) for girls studying at our school. She also spoke about the importance of role models in sport and how England Netball player Francesca Williams will be visiting our school tomorrow to officially cut the ribbon to our new pavilion building.
