St Mary's girls 'got talent' as they wow celebrity judges
In December St Mary's girls took part in the very first St Mary's Got Talent online talent competition judged by celebrity husband and wife team, McFly's Harry Judd and former finalist from Britain's Got Talent, Mrs Izzy Judd.
The celebrity judges were overwhelmed by the quality and standard of all the girls who entered, and the huge variety in talents that were showcased. From magicians to comediennes, to dancers and singers, and from our Reception girls right up to our Year 13, it was clear from the start our judges had a tough job on their hands.
There could only be three winners however, all in the running to win a pair of tickets each to the up-coming McFly tour. After building the tension, the girls watched the film in their final assemblies on the last day of the autumn term. The worthy, and talented winners were:
From our Junior School - Lauren A. with her performance from Matilda the Musical, and from our Senior School, both Rosie D. singing while playing her ukulele, and Margaret P. who played a very timely rendition of 'Have yourself a merry little Christmas' on her harp while also singing.
Congratulations to all the girls who sent in their films. It really was a wonderful way to end the school year, and we all enjoyed seeing your performances.
