Spanish study trip
During the Easter break 37 students in Year 10 and Year 11, accompanied by five members of staff, journeyed to Salamanca in Spain for a week-long study trip. The girls had lessons with native Spanish speakers in the afternoons and spent the rest of the time engaging in cultural activities; including salsa and flamenco lessons, visits to the cathedral and university and dining on chocolate con churros for breakfast and paella for dinner. Other highlights of the trip included a cooking workshop, a treasure hunt and a photo rally. Fortuitously, the girls visit fell during Holy Week and they were lucky enough to see one of the evening processions.
