Sixth Formers achieve outstanding A Level results
Sixth Formers have achieved an exceptional set of A Level results this year, reflecting their hard work and commitment to academic excellence. Notably, 25% of the grades awarded were A*, and 52% were at A*-A. These great results have secured places for St Mary’s Sixth Formers at prestigious universities, including Oxbridge, where they will study subjects such as Medicine, English Literature, Theology, and Geography.

The success of St Mary’s students is a testament to the empowering environment the School provides for young women. As the benefits of single-sex education gain recognition globally, St Mary’s continues to set the standard in promoting both academic success and personal development. With 89% of grades falling between A*-C, our students have excelled across diverse subjects, from Geography and Languages to Creative Arts. Many have also secured places at leading universities to pursue courses such as Automotive Engineering at Warwick, Biology at York, Medicine at Exeter, and Economics at University College London (UCL), alongside courses in Law, Economics, and Psychology. This year’s A*-A grades represent a 7% increase from the previous year, reinforcing the School’s strong academic reputation.
