Sixth Form make the most of Well-being Conference
As we all know, Sixth Form students can face many challenges, not least making decisions about their future. Sixth Form can be exciting, rewarding and at times overwhelming. In order to support our Year 12 this week we held a Well-being Conference to cover a number of topics which we hope will help our students navigate any challenges they may face.
On a carousel of activities, our Year 12 students spent the day in a number of activities. The girls had great fun in their healthy eating session with Mrs Landshoff, and enjoyed the therapeutic experience of baking flat bread. They learned about different types of relaxation techniques and took part in a yoga session with CamTeen Yoga.
Students also attended a confidence, self-esteem and well-being workshop with Real Talk Theatre, learned about local support services with Centre 33, and discussed how to navigate different types of relationships with Relate.
The girls also took part in a Study Skills session.
