Silver Art Award success!
The Silver Arts Award is a well-respected qualification open to students in Year 10 and above. Undertaking the Silver Arts Award involves setting and achieving an arts challenge (within any art form that interests the student), reviewing arts events, researching artists and arts organisations, and delivering an arts leadership project with other people. We were overjoyed to receive the following positive feedback from the moderator last month about the girls’ achievements this year: “When you are confronted with such an extraordinary variety of shapes and sizes of portfolios, including a mood box that lights up – as a moderator you know you’re in for a stimulating session... Overall there is a sense that the arts are enthusiastically embraced and undertaken with a mix of joy and understanding and the excitement of exploring. Well done!” Thank you to Mrs Emma Fisher who is our Silver Arts Award co-ordinator and well done to the girls who have clearly excelled in such a broad range of artistic interests.
