Rowing on the river

On Saturday 14 November nine members of the St Mary's School, Cambridge rowing squad arrived at the Cambridge University Boathouse on the River Cam to compete in their first race as a team. The girls worked well together and despite it being their first time rowing in this particular line up – with Lexi M. in the stroke seat (we have been experimenting with the order to find the best combination for the new team) – and for some their first race at all, the crew did well. The girls worked as a team to bring up the pace, pushing together to the finishing line. This is set to be a very exciting group to watch over the coming season.
