Rotary Club Young Artist Competition brings out the best in St Mary's art students

Rotary Club Young Artist Competition brings out the best in St Mary's art students

Two exceptional young art students have shown their winning talent in the local heat of the Rotary Club Young Artist Competition, with their individual interpretations of the theme 'Rebuilding'. Their works of art have been forwarded to the East Anglian Regional Judging, marking a significant milestone in their artistic journey, and a step towards the National Finals later in the year.

The Rotary Club Young Artist Competition provided an open canvas for students to interpret the theme of 'Rebuilding' in their own creative ways, without limitations to the conventional definition of the word. The competition aimed to foster creativity, encourage the development of artistic skills across various media platforms, and inspire personal expression through interpretation of the theme.

In the Intermediate category, Georgia K. (Year 7) presented "Building Blocks," a poignant portrayal of rebuilding friendships.

Meanwhile, in the Senior category, Year 9 student, Runyu L.'s "Bringing Back from the Brink," captured attention with its profound message.
