Netball team runners up in national tournament

Since qualifying from the District Tournament, the Year 7 girls attended the School Games Level 3 Summer Festival. The netball tournament saw the girls play in four matches, of which they won three and drew the other.

The girls finished top of their group, taking them through to the semi-finals to play, and beat, St Bede’s Inter-Church School 6-5. The girls then went on to play in the final where they narrowly lost 7-5, leaving them runners up for the day; something of which they should be incredibly proud.

The girls are now runners up in the School Games and also the country, and we look forward to supporting them in the new academic year as they go forward with their netball.
