Merry Christmas from the Science Department!

Chemistry students have been getting into the Christmas spirit, with a scientific twist. As part of their GCSE Chemistry, students have been learning about the periodic table elements and the reactivity of metals -- lessons which have inspired some festive activities in the Science Department.

Year 10 Scientists, Elloise, Lizzie, Amelia, Rose and Alexa, serenade us with a song created by Mrs Diss, Assistant SenCo, about the reactivity of different metals, set to the tune of Jingle Bells:
