Katharina gets creative

Congratulations to Year 3 pupil, Katharina G. who won second prize in the 13 and under category of the Heffers Bookshop Writing Competition. Katharina was tasked with writing a piece of prose or poetry of no more than 3500 on the theme of ‘A house on the hill’.

Katharina’s story, ’Sometimes a house on the hill’, was praised by the judges for its creativity and will now be published alongside other successful entrants’ stories on the book seller’s website, and included in their email newsletter to over 15,000 readers. Katharina will also receive a £25 book token to spend in store. Very well done to Katharina and we look forward to seeing more creative writing from her in the future.
