Junior School Prize Giving

Junior School Prize Giving

At our much-anticipated Prize Day at the end of the summer term, our pride in the achievements of the pupils, and our appreciation of all that they have accomplished, was not dampened by the rain!

We were captivated by our guest speaker, Bijal (Bee) Hayes-Thakore, who spoke about her work with the Space Generation Advisory Council and The Planetary Society. Her parting words to the girls left them with the thoughts that "The first person to walk on Mars is alive today" and to consider that they themselves will witness the first Mars walk happen, could help to make it happen, and could even be that person. Our Head Girl and Depupty Head Girl then spoke about the past term, before the awards began.
