Junior School girls get to grips with cricket

Pupils have been getting to grips with cricket this term, and the U10 cricket team played a team from The Perse Preparatory School a few weeks ago. Whilst our girls didn’t win (by about 20 wickets!), it was nonetheless a fantastic training match and the girls learnt a considerable amount from the fixture. Next year they will be able to attend matches with a little experience under their belts. Unfortunately, our U11 girls’ match, against a team from Dame Bradbury's School, was called off earlier this week due to the rain.
