Irish dancing

Ella L. and Cristina C.H. have been awarded The Roy Burrell award for their commitment and achievements in Irish Dancing. Both girls have weekly lessons at the Masterson School of Irish Dancing, practise regularly and perform at a range of events throughout the year, including: St Patrick's Day celebrations, Christmas parties, and the school dance showcase. The girls also compete in Feís several times a year, and both have achieved a number of medals and trophies within their age and ability categories, including successfully completing Grades 1 and 2.

The Roy Burrell award hasn't yet been presented to the girls, but Ella and Cristina are looking forward to attending the presentation evening in March to receive their awards, earned for excellence, participation and attitude to their chosen sport, and using it to contribute to the school environment. Congratulations to both girls!
