International success for Year 10 fencer

Year 10 student Holly T. is no stranger to success in fencing, and is now celebrating having been selected to represent England U17 in the sport. On Friday 2 February she will be flying to Paris as one of 12 U17 girls to represent England in an international competition. Holly has taken part in ranking competitions in which she earnt her place on the team: she is currently #13 in England U17 girls, and #16 in U17 Great Britain girls. Beyond junior fencing Holly also competes in adult competitions; last week she took part in an open UK female competition in which she finished third, losing the semi-final with a close score of 15-13.
