Imogen's musical fundraiser breaks target to support Uttlesford Foodbank
Imogen C. from Year 6 was involved in a Christmas fundraiser which has raised an impressive £1,553 (and counting) for Uttlesford Foodbank.
Joined by members of a local performing arts group - led by Jonathan Scripps - Imogen created a fun remake of the well known Christmas hit: Do They Know It's Christmas?
Working in a socially distanced way, each performer filming their individual lines in the open air and shared these recordings with Jonathan, who compiled the full fundraising video.
With an original target of £1000, the team's efforts went beyond all expectations. Funds were donated to Uttlesford Foor Bank, boosting their resources to support families over the festive period.
Well done Imogen! As a St Mary's girl, she is a leading example of how Mary Ward Values encourage pupils to think of others and to make a positive impact on the world.
