Greetings from Hong Kong

“Greetings from the Hong Kong boarders as we have officially hosted our first ever lunch gathering, at a Thai restaurant – Soi 7 – in Hong Kong. 

There was a good mix of old and new students; we socialised and got to know each other better. With the idea of creating a homely atmosphere, we printed out photos of the girls during their time at St Mary’s School, Cambridge and decorated the venue with the photos, and wrapped gifts for each of the guests. 

We started off giving a welcome speech and enjoyed a wonderful selection of food. For entertainment, we created a quiz to test the girls on their knowledge about our school. The whole luncheon lasted three hours and everyone seemed to enjoy it – especially our lucky draw winners.  

Indeed the event was very successful with 24 participants and Constance H. was our dedicated photographer. Have a great summer and we hope to see you soon!”
