Get exploring this half term
The Exploration Society’s autumn and winter programme is inviting Cambridge schools to register. Many of our students have enjoyed participating in the scheme in previous years and there are some great opportunities for the girls to get outdoors, learn new skills and have some good old-fashioned fun.
This half term, pupils in Year 4 to Year 6 are able to book on to a week-long adventure, where small teams work together to find clues, solve puzzles, quiz suspects and learn new skills. The girls should expect enchantments, ancient crafts, secret societies and hidden treasures with a Halloween theme to be uncovered. For students in Year 7 to Year 9 there is the chance to spend a week rock climbing, hiking and caving in the Peak District, or for those in Year 10 and above a winter mountaineering trip to the Lake District is on offer.
