GCSE Art examinations

On Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 April our Year 11 GCSE Art students undertook their 10 hour Art examination. The girls finished the examination on Thursday evening and with all the work safely locked away, Head of Art Mrs Gillian Clifford was pleased to report that the Year 11 students had found the examination really enjoyable! The girls spent 10 weeks planning, and the opportunity to spend 10 hours producing a personal piece of artwork was welcomed. The pieces produced were very varied, interesting and exciting, and the GCSE Art, A Level Art and Photography, and Art scholars’ private view exhibition, on Thursday 16 June, will be an opportunity for parents and friends of our school community to see the girls’ coursework and work from this week’s examination. Well done to all of the girls on producing some lovely work.
