Faith and Football update
Year 9 girls completed the Faith and Football Enterprise challenge this week, having worked remarkably well. To complete the challenge the girls had to create a company and develop a business idea and plan that was then turned into a practical and real way of generating income. Not only did the students learn about setting up and running a business, but they also raised a combined total of £950, which will go to the Faith and Football charity. The girls’ successes, in just four months, has been wonderful to see, especially considering they started the campaign with no funding or resources, and were required to find all of the resources they required. The girls’ projects, alongside those of teams from other schools, will now be judged by impartial business representatives and the winner will be announced in June.
