Dutch Exchange
Last week our students from Year 8 to Year 10 welcomed their exchange partners from Oud Beijerland, Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Arriving on 5 October, the Dutch students headed home with their exchange partners to dine with their host families.
During their trip, the Dutch students spent time together while their exchange partners attended lessons. They enjoyed a treasure hunt and some free time in Cambridge, a visit to the Fitzwilliam Museum, punting on the River Cam, and a trip to the Sedgwick Museum. With their St Mary’s School, Cambridge exchange partners the group attended a whole day of lessons, as well as bowling and spending time with host families. The Dutch students were excited to be detouring via Canterbury on their journey home – we wish them a great time at Canterbury Cathedral and safe travels home, and look forward to visiting Oud Beijerland early March 2016.
