County hockey

Yesterday our U18 team competed for the first time in the U18 County Hockey Tournament at The Leys School. The team consisted of three Year 11 girls, including Amelia S. who played incredibly as goalkeeper, and 12 Sixth Form girls, including newcomer to the school Alice W. who was also fantastic.

The team drew 0-0 against The Leys in a really close game and then, perhaps contrary to the official score (our girls lost 1-0), the girls played superbly against Hills Road and were simply unlucky not to score. The girls should be incredibly proud of themselves and how well they are playing as a team – and looking forward to the next opportunity to compete.
