Coffee & cake, pizza & punting
Joining with many workplaces and community groups across the country our Sixth Form students hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday and raised £170 for Macmillan Cancer Support – the organisation that aims to “make sure no one faces cancer alone”.
The Sixth Form girls then headed off for an afternoon of pizza and punting to celebrate successfully completing the first month of Sixth Form. In the beautiful September sunshine the River Cam and the surroundings looked exceptional. The group enjoyed a chauffeured punting trip along the college backs, accompanied by a narrative with historical information about the colleges from the Scudamore's punting staff. Afterwards pizza was delivered to Granta Place and the group sat on the grass by the river having dinner together. It was great fun for everyone!
